Yuna isn’t just a guide dog—she’s Marilyn’s trusted partner and best friend. Trained to expertly navigate their daily outings, Yuna knows exactly what to do when Marilyn says "follow." Whether it's a shopping trip or a relaxing walk, Yuna ensures Marilyn gets where she needs to go safely and smoothly.
But Yuna isn’t just about business—she’s also a superstar! When they visit Lake Haven, Marilyn and Yuna are greeted with smiles and warmth from staff and friendly locals. The wonderful ladies at Adairs and Aldi always look forward to seeing them, and Marilyn enjoys a relaxing coffee after shopping while Yuna takes her well-earned water break.
As much as Yuna is a professional in her harness, she’s also a playful pup at heart. When the harness comes off, it’s time for fun! Marilyn loves seeing Yuna enjoy her downtime, and the bond they share is truly heartwarming.
Spreading Awareness and Building Connections
One of Marilyn’s passions is educating others about guide dogs and the importance of asking before patting a working dog. Children are especially curious, and Marilyn takes the time to teach them why Yuna needs to focus when she’s in her harness.
